My name is Alan Wallace and I may be known to you as the creator, head falconer and commentator of the very successful Land Rover Hawk Flying Display Team. This four man team appeared in the main arena of most major UK Agricultural Shows and many Town Shows during 1993, 94 and 95 performing on a total of 362 days over the three seasons more information. What you might not know is that during the last 30 years I have also commentated on over 1,700 events from Motorcycle and Car Racing at Silverstone and Brands Hatch, to Steam Rallies and Classic Car Shows see list For the last 6 years I have been busy running a small Grouse Hawking Hospitality Business on the North Yorkshire Moors (now closed due to the expiry of the Moor's Lease), commentating at Classic Car Shows and Steam Engine Rallies (see reference) and running my small press agency, web design and hosting business.
With the development of reliable mobile internet connectivity it is now possible for me to spend more time commentating, the job that I love. I have invested in both a motor home which is fitted out as an office, entertainment centre, living quarters and commentary box and has enough room in the back for my professional arena sound system. Thus making us completely self contained. more
