I believe that a show commentator must be much more than an announcer or supplier of information. The style of his commentary should compliment the pace and character of the event he is presenting. The information provided in the commentary must take into account the profile of the audience so that the it can be presented in a style that maintains the spectators attention whilst not distracting from the event itself. This can only be achieved with experience and research. I am confident that with my experience I can present most events and with time to research the subject, any event.
